Additional tuning features

You can customize your tuningfile with these additional tuning features

EGR OFF
The EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve) is a valve that returns exhaust gas to the engines cylinders to reduce NOx emissions. The EGR valve can cause contamination in the engine block and will therefore sometimes be closed and disabled by software. Switching off the EGR valve is prohibited in the Netherlands.
DPF OFF
DPF stands for Diesel Particulate Filter and it filters soot particles and dust particles. The filter is designed to make diesel vehicles less harmful to the environment. A DPF is an expensive component and can generate diagnostic error codes and cost a lot of extra fuel. A DPF can be removed or disabled.
DTC Removal
DTCs are also known as Diagnostic Trouble Codes. They are electronic messages in case of problems with the engine or transmission. They can be turned off when the causes are found and resolved.
FLAPS
FLAPS are small valves that vary the length/volume in the intake manifold to get a finer clutch and more efficiency. It is possible to remove or disable the flaps in the engine management system. Sometimes the valves break and when they do, there is a bigger chance of damaging the engine.
Vmax
Many cars have a Vmax, in other words: a speed limiter. It is possible to remove the Vmax from the car in order to experience the full potential of the car.
Adblue
AdBlue is a system that converts harmful NOx in diesel fuel exhaust into harmless nitrogen and water vapor. This significantly reduces emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx). Adblue can also be disabled in the engine management system.
START/STOP OFF
Disabling the Start & Stop system. Always provide the error codes if they are present in the ECU.

Engine Chiptuning for Grande Punto 1.3 JTD 70hp

My Chiptuning files specialise in Chiptuning petrol and diesel engines for improved performance and fuel efficiency. We have years of experience tuning Fiat engines to optimise for performance and efficiency.

The process

We analyse your vehicle and can adjust the engine management programme, also known as the ECU (Engine Control Unit). This engine software is largely responsible for the behaviour of the Grande Punto 1.3 JTD 70hp engine and its fuel consumption. We can optimise the ECU for any car, van, truck or tractor.

The benefits

In the case of the Grande Punto 1.3 JTD 70hp engine, our Chiptuning file is tailored for more power and torque, reduced fuel consumption, smoother acceleration and improved throttle response. By optimising the torque curve the Grande Punto 1.3 JTD 70hp engine produces more torque at lower RPM. This also means that you can change gear earlier, so your Fiat engine will run at lower revs and therefore more efficiently.

Many engine Chiptuning companies all over the world choose My Chiptuning files to tune their Fiat engine. Our Grande Punto 1.3 JTD 70hp engine Chiptuning file provides the best possible performance and results within the original safety margins.
